Welcome to our Serenity Project for the month of January 2018. The Serenity project is a collaborative photography project in which we want to share images that convey peace and calm.
"The Art of Macro Workshop" is in full swing at Clickin' Moms. This workshop has set me on a path of photography that is magical to me. The instructor, Tiffany Kelly, is not only an amazing teacher, but has also become a close friend over the past two years. If you ever want to learn macro photography, I cannot recommend this course enough. What is even more fun is that my dear friend, Eileen Critchley, is taken the workshop now, and I can watch her grow in this genre. My hope is that I will meet up with Eileen in person again, soon. She has become my biggest encourager, and more importantly my confidant.
So with all that I have learned and continue to grow, I was able to create some of my best macro images to-date (in my humble opinion) this past weekend. I purchased some irises at our local Trader Joe's. And here are the images that spoke to my heart; macro photography is truly my zen place.
I ordered a print of the below image from Color Inc. I can't wait to put that on our wall.
Follow the circle to see what my sweet and talented photography friend, Eileen Critchley - San Antonio Photographer, to find out where she found serenity in "Tiny Worlds".
Thank you for stopping by today; until next time, keep calm and photograph some flowers.
