Ranunculus

Macro Monday ~ Volume 13

Welcome to Macro Monday. I cannot believe that this is already my 13th macro post. Time is flying when you are having fun. I went back through my ranunculus images to see if something pulled my eye. To be honest with you, I have a hard time photographing yellow. I wanted to make sure that I retained the beautiful texture of the yellow ranunculus. I usually over-expose when it comes to yellow and blow my highlights. However, this time I was able to not blow out the highlight (too much).

Macro Monday - Volume 11

Welcome to Macro Monday - Volume 11. Even though it has been a hot summer, I made time for macro photography. As a matter of fact, photography is a great escape from my stressful job. This past week my friend Tiffany sent me a beautiful "Thank You" bouquet. The flowers are called Ranunculus. Because these flowers have so many layers, they are perfect for macro photography.

First filling the the frame... Macro Monday 11_1
