Sundays are usually for me to slow down, relax, and if I have time, read books. I wish I had more time to do these things. However lately photography has consumed my mind. Mostly macro photography or working with my creative lenses, like the Sweet 35 from Lensbaby. Photography puts my mind at ease and lets me forget everything around me.
I have had this tea cup for many years, and I always wanted to photograph it. Now with my little studio, I have more opportunities to create the images that make my heart happy. I used to drink a lot more tea when I lived in Germany. Now, I drink more coffee to keep me going.
I enjoy working with my new flat lay boards from Medium. If you have a chance, check them out. They are non-reflective and are perfect for flat lays or still life images. I know that I will purchase more styles in the coming months.
The above image was taken for the Sunday Project Group - 52 Sundays - one Sunday at a time.
Thank you for stopping by today...until next time, slow down and take in your surroundings...
