Sunday - Dappled Light

This year I have been photographing like it goes out of fashion tomorrow. No, seriously, I have taken already over 700 images in first 7 weeks. The projects that I am involved in keep my going; they help me think to improve my photography on so many levels. Mostly I am photographing just for myself, just to see how far I can push myself.

One doesn’t stop seeing. One doesn’t stop framing. It doesn’t turn off and turn on. It’s on all the time.
— Annie Leibovitz

I follow several photographers closely; one of favorite ones is Nadeen Flynn. Her work inspires me so much, and I study all of her images. I am drawn to her work because of her incredible use of light and her still life styling. If you are not familiar with Nadeen's work, I encourage you to check out her website. She not only shares her work, but also shares some tutorials that have been very helpful to me.

So today as I was photographing for our Sunday Project, I thought about mostly light, but also adding some interest with dabbled light and textures in my background. Here is what I came up with:

 Lensbaby Velvet 56 - SS 400 - f5.6 - ISO 400

Lensbaby Velvet 56 - SS 400 - f5.6 - ISO 400

The above image was taken for the Sunday Project Group - 52 Sundays - one Sunday at a time.

Thank you for stopping by today...until next time, play with some interesting light and textures.
