Serenity Project - December 2017

Welcome to our Serenity Project for the month of December 2017. The Serenity project is a collaborative photography project in which we want to share images that convey peace and calm.

As we come to the close of 2017, I have had the opportunity to take some days off from my full-time job as an accountant. So, this past Friday I went for a little photo walk at a local Preserve in Gilbert, the Riparian Preserve.  I like to spend time there, because it is close to our home, and I always find something interesting to photograph there.

With this being said, I equipped my Canon 6D with my Lensbaby Velvet 56 (which I call lovingly "Lucille"). I wanted to work with different kinds of light to get some diversity. I had a wonderful time contemplating my compositions, slowing down to take in the beauty of the park.

Thank you for stopping by today; until next time, keep calm and explore a local park for some serenity.
