Serenity Project - October 2017

Welcome to our Serenity Project for the month of October 2017. The Serenity project is a collaborative photography project in which we want to share images that convey peace and calm.

Last month, for my birthday, I explored the Desert Botanical Garden, located in the middle of Phoenix. From one of the lookouts you can see Camelback Mountain, one of the many hiking destination in Arizona.

I was excited to spend some time in one of my favorite places, however not much was in bloom. September is still very warm in Arizona, thankfully the morning are now cooler so that you can spend time exploring. Here are some of my favorite images from that outing.

Follow the circle to see what my wonderful and talented photography friend Susan Bahen, Ottawa Fine Art Photographer, is sharing this month from her surroundings with her post titled "October Grey Days make Fall Colours Shine".

Thank you for stopping by today; until next time, keep calm and explore your local gardens for some serenity.
